Over the past several years, the Vernon Nutrition Center's team of highly experienced Registered Dietitians has grown to be considered the leading experts in individualized nutrition counseling services to Sussex County residents of all ages and has now expanded its practice to offer nutrition counseling services to the residents of Bergen County with the opening of our Ramsey location.
We provide nutrition counseling and guidance in areas such as obesity management, underweight and failure to thrive, cholesterol and blood pressure management, diabetes education, food allergies, and gastrointestinal disorders.
Our individualized weight management programs, which are available for both adults and children, provide patients with structured one-on-one nutrition counseling on topics such as portion control, healthy snacking, emotional eating and increasing physical activity. Our disease management programs focus on dietary changes, strategies to improve nutritional status, and weight loss if indicated.
We have been successful in helping our patients achieve their nutritional and weight goals while improving their overall health through private consultations and individual meal plan and exercise design. We work closely with area physicians to communicate and evaluate patient progress.
